Some of them are just as greedy as the producers they accuse of being greedy. One site charges you $15 up front, and you don't get archives, and you only get one set per week. So after being charged $15, you only have one set and you have to wait every Friday to get another set. There was nothing explaining that I don't get access to archives. The model didn't seem to understand what was wrong with this arrangement. And it was done through drop box sent to your email.

I joined another patreon site of a mainstream fitness model, who offered a $20 tier and a $150 tier. The $20 tier was not a bad deal at all. There were only 150 pics total but she had been adding a lot of pics in recent months, and the videos were very high resolution. The pics had acceptable image resolution and were on the main patreon feed. And there were even a couple of pics with some nipplage. And this was a girl that produced really high quality videos on youtube. The $150 tier was supposed to offer full galleries of pics. Well, it turned out that I had to join tumblr and the pics were on her private tumblr feed. There were only 55 pics. The image resolution of the pics was lower than those pics on the $20 tier. There were no videos. Only one nipplage pic and no topless pics whatsoever. The largest gallery contained maybe eight photos. I voiced extreme displeasure. Since patreon doesn't offer refunds she gave me an additional month of free access to the private tumblr feed and told me more pics would be added. Here is the thing - a paysite producer would not be able to get away with an arrangement like this. They would understand that the $150 tier should be offering a service that is commensurate with what the $20 tier is offering. If they tried this kind of crap their billing service providers would be on their ass because they would be getting hounded with refund requests (like what is happening with Naughty America right now).

Agreed. I know I'm stating the obvious here, but the internet has changed porn forever. Up until 12-15 years ago, the only real way to watch your favorite porn stars was to buy or rent their DVDs. Nowadays, access is so easy: there are SO many free sites, some where you can even catch an entire scene. And even if you can't get the whole scene, I think a good number of casual viewers are just fine with watching clips because even the "official" clips have gotten longer in recent years. ******* in particular has also created access to a lot more choices: more pornstars to pick from, as well as the growing number of amateurs.
